Xenojulis margaritacea, also known as the finspot wrasse, is a captivating species native to the western Pacific Ocean. These colorful fish can be found on coral reefs at depths ranging from 2 to 10 meters (approximately 6.6 to 32.8 feet). Their striking appearance includes a tan or beige body adorned with darker brown splotches. Super males can even develop a primarily green coloration with red spots.
